did you get the client from the downloads link?
did you log in with your Blizzard account (wrong way) or your TrueWoW account?

You have to log in with username not email.

Follow our guide on how to connect to the server:

Never - ever - use your email address to log in to our server.
Use your game account's username instead (which is separate from your forum account).
You don't need to update anything. Our client comes ready to play.
You can play from anywhere in the world as well.
