LF pro Destro PVP /Pro Afflic PVE

#1 » Post by Cover25 » 19 Dec 2012 14:44

As the title says, I'm looking for an experienced DPVP/APVE or a guide that shows these two specs.

I know both specs..What do you wanna know? Well I might get my laptop tommorow (hopefully) and get in-game because I hate having conversation here or writing an essay.

My guild has demo so there's no point going there. I've always loved affliction. Kindz, just how to approach classes, or rotation for PVE, pro tips, shit that many warlocks don't know (Like distracting shot for hunters)

I don't recommend going Affliction PVE with this bug: https://github.com/TrinityCore/TrinityCore/issues/7418

Edit: Nevermind it's not an issue.

Well I always start with 1 Shadow Bolt, then Haunt for 2x Shadow Embrace. Then I cast UA,Corruption and Curse of Agony.

The trick is to maintain a Corruption with the maximum haste you can get.So if your raid casts Bloodlust/Heroism,use a trinket that increases haste (is a must) and hope that Eradication will pop while you have these effects on you.Now this is the perfect moment for you to cast Corruption.

While the encounter is on,always have UA,CoA,Haunt and Shadow Embrace on the target. When you have UA and Haunt effects on the target, you spam Shadow Bolts up until 30% of the targets HP.Then you Drain Soul and cast shadow bolt only to reset the effect from it.

To keep the fastest Corruption spell you just need to cast SB or Haunt but if there is no time (example 2 secs left until Corruption fades) ,cast a fast Drain Soul and interupt it once the spell is refreshed or your DPS goes down. (Read Everlasting Affliction talent - Before Haunt)

I can explain more in-game,too lazy now.

CoA for short fights, CoD for longer fights.

Eh idk...I fully talented Shadow Embrace and Contagion and Improved CoA so the damage output with CoA should be higher than with CoD...Haven't tested it though, just theory :)
