Warlock Question

#1 » Post by mikerday » 09 Aug 2015 04:43

I'm looking for information on how affliction warlocks everlasting affliction effects corruption on truewow. Does corruption work as it did in retail?

Afaik Corruption gets its stats refreshed every time Everlasting Affliction refreshes it, where it should keep the inital stats check used the first cast only. Meaning that trick with haste pots and trinket procs won't make your Corruption as op here as it was on retail.

Najls, you are very wrong, haste trick is not a retail thing. On retail corruption was keeping crit from all sources, and % damage modifiers from caster from initial cast on every Everlasting Afliction refresh. And it was recalculating SP and haste on each tick. And that is working very well here.

It works with crit and damage modifiers.

It used to work with haste on TW, but it was a bug, as it made a warlocks op, able to do crazy dps.

Haste was included on retail, for a short time, but was hotfixed due to the above reason a few patches ago.
